So here's the deal, for the last like... 2-3 weeks Exile has been actively recruiting to fill our 25-man team. During this time we've been running 25 ICC with assloads of apps, some good, some not so much, and we've actually been progressing in a way. One of the new members actually has a 25-man LK kill so we get to do fun stuff like heroic lewtship, always fun. Anyhow so one of the more recent apps (he may be in the guild already I suck at paying attention) likes to fraps stuff we do

Anyway so last night was night 2/3 for our 25-man raid week, and we're starting in on LK sunday. The only downside to apps is that they're just not as comfortable with certain fights as some of us are. Gets a little frustrating having to wipe on shit that should be soooooo very easy. Either way, I'm hoping once we get a more solid group we'll get more done, but we'll see.

I have joined the subversion spinoff guild Exile. On Hya anyway. Hya is back to being Shadow/Disc. Works for me I always wanted to get good with dps on her but rarely ever had the chance.

Still waiting for firm raid days/times so I'll know if I will be continuing to tank for Sacrilege or not.

Anyhow so like, Exile... Started my 1st week raiding with them on Wednseday night. Lady Death, Gunship, and Rotface on heroic, tried blood wing tonight but I had to leave early to tank my previously scheduled raid. So far I'm liking the way things are going. Only downside is if they pick Thursday as a regular raid night and I get this new job/promotion at work (wont be on to raid thurs or fri) so we'll see, otherwise I'll be regemming Hya tomorrow, and working on the lock and the shammy.

BTW, Salagord, I hope you feel better tomorrow >.<

Surprising right? Not really, but hell I'm awake, and bored so lets get to the updates.

Mmk so you may have noticed that the list'o 80's on the side there has changed. I finally capped my lock, woo. Honestly its the most fun I've ever had as a dps only toon.

Hya is now Holy/Disc instead of Shadow/Disc. Changed to help out my raid team, we'll get to the pointlessness of that in a moment.

My bear is back to tanking, currently filling in a spot on a 10-ICC team with Sacrilege.

My pally, once Holy/Ret is now Holy/Prot. It's fun, for realz.

Hunter and DK are on a shelf as usual, shammy is slowly crawling her way up the lvls.

So! Subversion is dead. Love how I clawed my way up the figurative ladder of guilds, to the top, only to watch the ground disappear. Guess they couldn't handle losing server 1st to Ouro, or something. Anyhow, new guild formed, Exile. I've been invited to join said guild, probably will. Wouldn't suck so bad if my raiding wasn't already limited by work as is. Maybe I'll see if that offer is still open from Lightbringer. At least I'd progress? I dunno, every time I start server shoppin I get talked out of it. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will take my fail ass in.

As usual it's Tuesday and there is no WoW to speak of. Raiding for the priest has come to a standstill. The GM of Subversion up and took off on us, leaving the 3 officers in charge. Unfortunately since this server is like the crappiest hell hole of a server ever, this is kind of a big deal. This week's raiding sans Trit was well... awful. Mind you I managed to miss Wednesday by being out of town but fri-sat was terrible.

I come back from vaca to find that they did ICC-25 Wednesday instead of the farm content, so I missed out all pretty much everything. All they left was Putricide. Friday we do Putricide, and we fail, all 10 times. Frankly yeah, it's not a cake-walk fight, but this team should have been able to pull this off, but instead of concentrating on that everyone chose to argue like children instead. By the time we finished the 10 tries I was ready to hurt people, and off to 25-togc we went. Only did the 1st 2 in there, didnt have the right "group composition" for faction champs. Saturday we were supposed to do the Deaths Demise run (yogg +0), but that fell thru because a bunch of the raid team wasn't there. Turned into app night, and we did 25-OS +3 instead. Nice title, cool that we did it, and not the zerg way we actually downed each drake in time for the next and so-on.

10-man team got to festergut, couldn't down rotface, I missed monday's attempts because I have class monday nights, yay.

If you can't tell, I'm losing my drive to raid, hell my drive to play, it's boring, and I'm sick of the crap, I want Trit to come back and scream at ppl till they listen.... it always works.

Gonna try horde with the guys for a bit and see how it goes, Server transfers are coming I'm sure...

The 2nd part of ICC opened, we downed 2/3 bosses in the new part, to my knowledge it hasn't been cleared on our server yet on 25, so we'll get to that this week I'm sure. Guild leader quit, I took a mini-vaca, and that's about it =)

We'll see how raiding goes this weekend, maybe we'll get lucky

So, patch was a week ago. Most of my addons were back in working order by wednesday, thankfully. The guild waited till our usual Wednesday raid time to take over ICC-25, Server first as usual. Totally loved the fights with the exception of the last boss (well, last boss of the 1st quarter anyway). I dunno if it's just me but since I'm healing, I do a whole lot of staring at healbot and rapid-clicking, and not a lot of watching the fight. I'd rather keep people alive than have an in-depth understanding of what's going on. I do my job, and I think I do it well, and that's what matters. So that being said, I have no fucking clue what was going on for most of the night.

I remember 1st boss has like, freezy ground path thing, don't stand in it. Random spike thing, that hurts, and a whirlwind deal, which for some reason, when you really wanna get yourself killed, refuses to actually deal damage to you... odd. 2nd boss I don't even remember... odd really I have no recollection of it at all. 3rd, the Boat! I wanted to yell Boats n' Hoes like a billion times, luckily I contained myself. However, I would love to share a particular screen shot of the boat fight with you all. This, by far, is the most amusing thing I've found so far from this new patch.

Now everything after the boat fight was a blur as well, I can only multitask so well and yeah, my evening went south around the 2nd attempt at boss #4.

More good news tho, Salagord finally gets his chicken! The day after we successfully farm up my phoenix pet =)
Lets see... New LFG system, I LOVE that it spans the battlegroup, however there are downsides! When on my DK I always get amazing groups, on my Priest, they fail, hard, and this is with me as DPS, I refuse to heal these pugs. Biggest downside, is that if you're in the instance, and you walk out, you're not outside the instance, you're back where you were when you ported in, so running outside for a quick repair is not as easy as it sounds. Using it a lot on my Pally tho, lots of fun =)

zomg Patch Day!

It's here, and it's taking forever! Not that I even expected to play today, everyone knows patch day = no wow for 24hrs.

So since I'm not playing I have plenty of time to talk about playing! Great isn't it! Well I rolled a pally a bit ago, hit 68 last night, so off to Borean Tundra I went. Totally a fun class to play after like... lvl 40. Rolled a shammy too, that's just a bitch to level as resto, jeebus it was awful, hit 30 a week or 2 ago, havent played since.

Tomorrow will be dedicated to testing out IC with Subversion. Definitely plan on playing in the 5-man version tonight if I ever see Blade's Edge again.

Worst part about patch day, addons. I kid you not, I will finally log on, and be bombarded by 30+ error messages unforming me that NONE of my addons work anymore, o yay... Time to fire up the old curse client and see whats going on.

Big oops on not updating for a month

So lots has changed actually. As you can tell from previous posts I was having a few issues with some stuff in Addicted. I mean shit happens ya kno? So a while back I had apped to the top raiding guild on the server. I figured it was a big fat NO when I hadn't heard back within a month, but I was wrong, their top disc priest retired, so guess what! Totally in Subversion now, on Hya anyway.

Well I had left my other toons as is, no point in leaving a guild that i enjoyed most of the time, but lets face it, they havent said a word to me since I moved Hya, so I'm not so sure how long they'll be there.

Anyway! Back to my adventures with Subversion!

So Apped on the 11th (like ran with for test run) of November. For my test run we full cleared 25-toc... Then 25-Ony, and then did over 1/2 of Ulduar, in like 3 hrs. It was raiding as I had NEVER seen before, it was just amazing. Since that day, I have finally full cleared Ulduar 25, and was present for the server first Faction Champs 25-heroic kill!

So it's been an interesting month, workin on 80 #5, we'll see how that goes =)

To this stupid holiday still! Only missing one achievement for the title. Done the Azeroth achievement on 2 of the 4 toons already, it's great money. Anyhow so I got my squashling, and my fawn, and my cute penguin for switching to battle.net.

So some shit's been goin on that I'm not too happy about. While back I was given control over all the 10-man raids we run in guild. It was extremely short notice, and it is my honest belief that I was given this responsibility so the person giving it, could watch me fall on my face. Since this change, our Ulduar teams are severly lacking. Everyone has this attitude of fuck Ulduar, we want ToC, lemmie tell you all right now this does NOT fly with me, at all.

First off seriously, I don't give a flying fuck wether or not you have 80's who havecleared this content. If you're still in greens and blues, I am NOT going to take you into Ulduar or ToC. Of course there are exceptions to this rule, like if I've run with this toon of yours before and I KNOW it can perform to the standards that have been set.

Ugh, totally lost my train of thought, so anyway, my fire's out for now, I'm sure I'll pick this rant up later.

It's here!!! Don't mind me, but I love the stupid holidays in this game, though I'm desperately hoping they reset the candy buckets daily, even without that's a log of damn gold to make from stealin fun candy out of cute pumpkin buckets.

And hello! Headless Horseman! Already got the broom on Hya and my DK. You all know that the pet will be mine if I have to club someone over the head for it. I also hear that the Kara boss may be a repeat, in which case that bat, he'll be mine too.

So for the week, no one signed up/showed up for the ulduar team. You can only imagine how pissed I was being that I actually took time to set this shit up only to have everyone bail, this is a core team you fuckheads! Anyway, so I'm talkin to a friend last night and I'm yellin about how only 4 people signed up or some shit, and he says, well fix it, and we're in vent with some other people, so I'm like hey guys, Ulduar, at 7, and they're like, ok.

So I brought a few of his friends, and some newer guildies, and FL +2, and a really damn close accidental Heartbreaker later, we did rather well. only 4 bosses down, but we only ran for 2 hrs instead of the usual 3, I'm impressed.

Managed to recruit my OT from last night into the guild as well, the rogue will probably follow soon. And I learned some cool stuff, like some of the new guildies, dont suck.

Anyhow, back to trick or treating for me, god I love this damn holiday.

O! and before I forget, 25-man ToC, beasts, down, someday I'll remember to SS.

Druid's on the way up!

Been tanking the core-raid team's 10-man Ulduar runs for a few weeks now, I love it. Last week in our 25-Uld, we had an extra healer or 2, so a few were told they could go dps, nice right? Not for me, I was one of the healers that wasn't given the option. Trust me, Hya was not happy. After much bitching I was told next time I could. So yesterday morning, I'm lookin over the roster for 25-Uld, and damn, look at that, 8 healers, whispered the GM, said I, realllllllly wanna bring the druid tonight. So he kinda told me we didnt really have 8 healers, we'd brobably be short, yada yada, and 10 mins before raid start, the coordinator whispers me and says, Get on your druid, I need a tank.

Woot for me! Had a blast, apparantly I'm an aggro machine tho, few times on trash pulls, once my focus went down, I'd turn and smack what the other tanks were holding and poof, I had aggro, like 3 hit wonder. Impressive, but yeah, wasn't tryin to do that.

Been tossin around an idea for a while of taking Hya to a major raiding guild. The most likely option only raids 3 nights a week, so the other nights I could raid with Addicted on my druid, or my new 80 DK =)

Since my last post I was also put in charge of organizing our 10-uld and 10-toc runs, it sucked, getting better at it now. Our ToC team full clears every week, in half our raid slot time, so we've been doing Ony after. Works well really. Uld team did yogg for last week, never got past mimiron. Probably woulda been better if everyone on the damn core team would show up. Kept having to pull people in, not good on something you consider progression. Thinkin we're starting fresh this week, gonna try for a hard-mode or 2 and see how it plays out, hopefully everyone will manage to show up, or there's gonna be some people with some free time 2 extra nights a week.

Anyway, had a little burnout issue on the priest, so starting this weekend, all my 10-man runs will be done on my druid. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE playing a priest, and I'm a damn good one, but doing 10-mans, I find myself standing around doing nothing, a lot. We've been 2-healing everything, even ToC and yeah, lotsa downtime for me. Thankfully my GM is insanely cool, and yelled at me for not saying something sooner. I will be tanking instead for a bit.

I finally broke down and rolled a DK. Seriously, it's lvl 72, and on the lvl 70 dummy in IF yesterday I was pulling 1700's for dps. There is something very wrong with that.

Pre-burnout-swappage, I got to tank Ulduar on the druid last week, had a blast! I actually prefer raid tanking to 5-man tanking only because there seems to be less occurance of stuff being pulled off of me. Although I don't usualy get the AoE job, so it's easysauce. And my druid is rather well geared considering.

25-mans, well they're still not our forte. The people we've been bringing in to fill the ranks, while nice people, are not all that smart (some of them anyway). And they really suck at listening. Anyway, tonight we're doing a 10-naxx fun run for the badges, and I'm tanking, a little excited.

The druid will be comin home with lots of new achievements I'm sure.

So the issue comes up a lot with healers, of whether or not we use HealBot. I personally, love this addon. Anyway, usualy when I say I do use it, I get a bunch of questions on how it works and how to set it up. This here, is gonna be my mini-guide on HealBot for Disc Priests.

Stuff's been crazy so I'll toss out some highlights. Ulduar 25, still happening thanks to Inspiration and Care Bears of Terror. Ulduar 10 doing very well. ToC-10 cleared as of Sunday.

Managed to get the druid into a 10-Ulduar run with The Fail Train. Went amazingly well, got some upgrades, yay! Had to quit raiding on Tuesdays, in turn they quit doin Ulduar on Tuesdays. I would like to think it's because I'm that awesome, but I doubt that's the case =)

Arena Season starts TODAY!!! Yay!! New boss in VoA and new start for the Anti-Noobs, I'm sure we'll get a diff name this time. May go for a 3v3 instead of 2v2, we'll see.

O and I went on this psycho rep grind spree, got my Talbuk's, my epic fishing pole and Pengu! And the Tiny Sporebat! omg it's adorable! Sha'tari Skyguard is in progress. Also got my lower city rep up to finally do that druid quest, which i will do every day till the mount drops, and then every day again once i find another druid who will let me farm theirs on Hya.

New Beginnings

Well, the weekend has passed and so much has happened. Addicted was formed, and omg it's an awesome group of people. They made me their "Bank Manager" so I can officially reorganize the Guild bank whenever I choose (this right here, is awesome, I'm a bit OCD with it).

Yogg is still alive, but the determination is there, although I doubt you'll get any of us back into that room again once he's down.

Did 10-VoA and 10-EoE the other night just for the hell of it, it went exceptionally well. Also gave OS+2 a shot, 7%, you have no idea how mad I was that we quit for the night, especially because we never went back. 7%... thats like 500k, and had I yelled for tank CD's like 5 seconds earlier we would have been set.

Last night Kai decided at the last minute to do a 10-Ulduar alt run. My druid tanked. It was scary as hell, but I loved it. Time to start bustin ass for gear, I totally wanna do that again.

Oh! and I got antsy and got exaulted with all the cities, and then went nuts and bought all the faction mounts, then all the flying on.es... seriously, I'm very broke now lol. I also completed my collection of raptors, ravasaur eluded me for a while, then yesterday I logged in and she was standing right next to me.

Night 2 of Yogg-Saron, still no dice, however we've mastered phase 1, and we're getting a decent way into phase 2 before things go wrong. I believe the plan is to extend the lockout this week to get this finished, and so we have time to play in ToC-10.

Ulduar 25
Not so much success last night. Due to the lack of a consistent group every night I think. Unfortunately there is no way to remedy this until people start signing up and showing up. I'm hoping it gets better with time.

Totally forgot to mention that we 2-shot the 2nd boss encounter this week, go us! Not sure if the 3rd stage is coming out today or not since they didn't take the servers down, they did rolling restarts instead.

3hr clear of naxx 10 for badges, great run, came out with a bunch of sharded gear, worked out well.

The team I'm subbing in on for 10-Ulduar got mimiron down! Not a big deal for most, but it was the 1st time I personally saw it happen, so it's a big deal to me. 25-team opted out of trying the new raid last night, not like we made much progress in Ulduar, woulda had the same result.

Guild decided to stop running 25-naxx on the regular. Can't say I blame them, people bitch all week about not getting to raid, but then never sign up, or they do and then they don't show up. It's disrespectful to the team to not show up, therefor it irritates me. I may be using the 25-man slot to post random OS runs instead when i don't have class.

25 Ulduar team, the people that are there every week are great, the fact that we have to scramble to fill spots irritates me, again, all week they QQ over not raiding, yet when we raid, they don't show.

Anyway I'm bitchy today, gonna stop here, I'm sure I'm forgetting something...

FEROCIOUS BUTT!

Ok so we went back last night, and we did it, we downed the 1st stage of the new Trial of the Crusader. After you get Icehowl, that's it, they are only releasing 1 "boss" at a time, that was the 1st. I'm a dipshit and I forgot to SS the stuff that dropped, but we did get the new emblems for it, very cool.

So after ToC-10 we went back to Ulduar. Mind you I'm running with a different team this week, so yeah. But we brought our alts in for FL, then switched back for the rest, cleared the starter 4, kolo, auriaya, IC, and went on to play with Thorim, no go on the last, but he will be down this week. Anyhow, excited about the new raid lockout thingy, extention = win.

Oh and Hya finally has a new weapon!!! New wrist too, very nice night. This makes me the 7th most geared Disc Priest on the server, fuckin yay. Anyway, check it out if you want LINKY!

New Pets!! Yes there are new ones that came with the new patch, I currently have 2 of the 8, 1 of which can be purchased from the vendor in Dalaran. The other is the Gundrak Raptor one. I'll be farming the red one most of the day.

Ok so the worst part about a major content patch, is that none of your addons work right off, error messages everywhere, it sucks.

Anywho, did a naxx run this morning, 25-man, 3hrs 8 min, full clear, wewt.

Trying out the new 10-man regular raid, Trial of the Crusader. Here's some notes so far...

Part 1: Gormok
Debuff on tanks, wouldn't recommend going past 3 stacks. In the mean time, flames appear on the ground, and there are these snobolds... they hump your head. I wish I was kidding here. The worst part is, its so shocking that it actually STUNS you! That's right, you get stunned, which really sucks when you're in one of those fires, and you can do nothing but watch yourself die being humped and burned to death. Anyway, you can totally dps these down.

Part 2: ZOMG WORMS! Acidmaw and Dreadscale
A: poison stuff D: fire stuff Trust me you want those resistance auras up.
Starting out, 1 is stationary, 1 is mobile (this is the theme thru the fight) Periodically, they will both go underground and when they surface again, they switch places, the one previously stationary is now mobile, and mobile now stationary. The tank on Dreadscale will get a fire debuff, it deals about 5-6k damage per second. People hit with the poison from Acidmaw can run to this tank and take a tick of damage from the debuff to clear the poison. Once the 2 submerge the 1st time, the fire debuff will instead hit random raid members, this hurts.

At this point the tank on Acidmaw will not be able to run around to get to someone with the fire, so someone with fire will have to run to the tank so they dont become paralysed for 30 seconds.

Oh and when they submerge, aggro wipe time.

If you get Acidmaw down 1st, no more poison, however when one dies, the other enrages. "Tranq shot is a lie" as one of our hunters put it.

3: Icehowl
Ferocious Butt, need I say more? Yes that's actually the name of the attack, har har blizzard, har har. Didn't get to see much of this one, but he does a knockback, throws everyone to the outter wall and stuns you, during which time he chooses a target and you get this super speed buff. RUN. If you are his target get the hell away from where you are on the wall. This is where the Ferocious Butt comes in. Should you not move in time, you will be met by the Ferocious Butt of Death (60-80k damage), and as a result of your slowness, he will enrage.

Ok so here's the absolutely best part about Ferocious Butt, if you move in time, he hits the wall and stuns himself making him take more damage. Trust me, when you see this the 1st time, you will laugh, and probably wipe because no one will be able to breathe, it's ok, totally normal.

That being said, this is as far as we got. I did however, take my newly 80 druid through the regular 5-man, it's farmable, 15-minutes a shot, it was GREAT, and there is an AMAZING trinket I must have for tanking, massive stam and chance to gain like 7k armor on melee crit or some crap.

Oh!!! Forgot to mention that those 1st 3 parts, there are no breaks between them, not a second you go out of combat to regen mana or anything. Should you die, you cannot run back in during the fighting, and should you wipe, you start from the beginning.

Malacai got to sub in for naxx last night, yay for over 3k dps! Unfortunately I was only present for 1 fight, but it went well.

Patch day omg omg omg it's HERE!!! (Please excuse my excessive use of caps...)

Ok ok so lets pull out some of the best parts

Mana Regeneration: All items that provide "X mana per five seconds" have had the amount of mana they regenerate increased by approximately 25%.

Enrage: This Bear Form ability now generates 20 rage initially, and 10 rage over the next 10 seconds. The armor penalty is unchanged.

Traps now have separate 30-second cooldown categories: Fire (Immolation Trap, Explosive Trap and Black Arrow), Frost (Freezing Trap, Frost Trap) and Nature (Snake Trap). A hunter can have one trap of each category placed at one time.

Penance: Cooldown increased to 12 seconds, up from 10 seconds. (Not really a plus, but I'm not worried here, 2 seconds won't kill me.)

The local Postal Service has grown tired of walking so far each day to collect mail and has decided to install a large number of new mailboxes in Stormwind, Undercity, Darnassus and Orgrimmar. (Stupid, but 1 mailbox per city was stupid too)

All stackable potions now stack to 20. YAYAYAYAYAY!

Blackened Dragonfin Recipe: Now only requires 1 Dragonfin Angelfish. (Thank god, I hate farming those)

Values on Northrend ring enchants increased. (OMG YES!)

Dragon's Eye gems stat bonuses increased. AND EPIC GEMS!!!!

Fur Lining values increased. (for LW's)

Master of Anatomy (Rank 6) provides more critical strike rating. (OP druidness, here I come)

Last night we decided to attempt Freya one more time on the 10-man team. So about 2 hours before the 25 starts up, we went in, and pwn'd face. Indeed, Freya went down like a bag of rocks last night, and it was oh, so glorious.

Following the pwnage, into 25-man we went, IC down, Auriaya down, and omg guess what?! Hodir! That's right ladies and gents, Sacrilege downed 25-man Hodir last night, go us!

Oh and more news, my druid hit 80 this morning, was immediately dragged into H VH, where we wiped on the guy with the psycho bubbles that 1-shot people. The person who dragged me in there, proceeded to leave. I went dps, got a new tank and poof, I get the epic staff I wanted out of it.

Made a kitty dps spec after that little snafu. It's nice, I like.

Also, testing out the new SUI beta, not so sure how much i like it. The new party frames cannot be turned off as of yet, so it interferes with xperl and i had to mutilate xperl to still work with it. Also had to rearrange little stuff to get everything to fit nicely.

Well with the loss of the 10-mans 2 leads last week, we got off to a semi-rocky start wednesday. We pugged in 3 people (2 from guild 1 from outside) FL and XT were our only victories that night. Thursday, on the other hand, well, 5 bosses, 3.5 hours, and only 1 wipe, yeah, we rocked that place.

Thanks to blizzards background downloader, as well as what I can only assume was server lag, 25-ulduar was full of lag and multi-dc's. 1 boss down, called it early because of lag, let's hope it isn't this bad monday.

I'm hoping to get my hunter into a 10-naxx this weekend, should be tonight actually. And the druid is at 78, only 2 more to go before I get to drag him into the mix too. Couldn't be better timing either, it seems a lot of our druids aren't raiding lately.

Well to start where I left off last, I couldn't convince mysself to stay awake one night for the Dedicated Few, i am now 4 or 5 Bosses short, bah. Apparantly the one night I didn't go, all the hunter gear dropped, go figure.

Another friend got hacked, I really want an authenticator, too bad they're never in stock.

Also, gonna give it one more try on getting my account linked to a battle.net because damnit, I want that pet.

Being that I'm not the Blizzcon type, I decided to pay for the live broadcast so I can obtain the pet for that as well.

Ok back on track, Sunday night, short our usual 2 raid leads, y current 10-man team managed to 1-shot 2 bosses and get a few good tries in on Thorim, we were awesome. After Ulduar I did Saph on Hya to help the guild finish this weeks run, and KT on Ji to finish the achievement run.

Mind you, it was like 3am when I finished the achievement run, and I had asked the tank if he wouldn't mind tanking H AN for me the following day because that was all I needed for Champ. of the Frozen Wastes, I ended up getting it that night. Actually I think I got like 6 or 7 achievements Sunday.

Last night, 1-shot Auriaya and Razorscale on 25-man, man that felt good. Also downed Council, I blame the 1st 2 wipes on the fact that most of us were laughing so hard when we pulled we couldn't see straight. I LOVE my Progression Team!

Oh and on top of all this, the druid hit 76 and is just shy of 20k unbuffed, I'm happy.

Back when I was like lvl 30, I met this hunter, with a pet named Cat. I suggested he name this, Cat. LilHyacin was named after me, yay me! Saw him in SW the other day, he still has the pet.

Ok, so Wednesday night is usually naxx for me, change of plans this week. I've was asked to sub for one of our 10-man teams, which runs the exact days and times as the naxx team. I was told on day 2 of subbing in that they have every intention of keeping me.

Anyhow so after Ulduar on Tuesday, I'm messin around, doin some profession work, whatever. I get this whisper askin if I wanna come to 25-naxx, on whatever toon I want. So I decided to take my hunter off the shelf and go for a chance at better gear. (BTW this wasn't really a full on pug because I knew like half the people there) Anyhow we couldn't quite muster up 25 people, what do you expect at like 2am?

So we eventually decide that we're gonna give an achievement a shot. Heroic: The Dedicated Few was started that night. We managed to get everyone back together for round 2 last night, we are now 9/14 into this and planning on finishing tonight and possibly tomorrow (god I hope we stretch it 2 days or i'll never get sleep)

Ulduar progression!
New to me, Hodir (10) downed Thursday night! And I've finally seen the wrath of Freya. Wednesday night we cleared through FL, XT, Razor, Kolo, and Auriaya, all 1-shot except the last. Council was left for later in the week as we didn't have an interrupt on the team last night.

Downed Auriaya last night! yay! After 2 nights of watching her cats rip us to shreds, we finally got her down, yay Sacrilege!

Next week looks promising really, after the cat lady we went for Hodir, definately got him to 30% on our 1st try, about 45% on the 2nd, and 23% was last i saw on the 3rd. I don't know what we were on last night, but it was awesome.

Well I've somehow lost the drive to play my druid. Burnout maybe, so the rogue I made way back has come to light. Anyhow, playing a rogue is totally fun, and I can use my lvling shoulders from my druid, on my rogue, just gotta mail them back and forth.

Oh, I'm so terribly serious. Yes, it's slow, but it's 500g I didn't have to spend on flight training and a new mount. Know how much I paid? 7g. Yep, that's right, seven gold, and some change.

So this of course means that I hit 68 today, yay druid!

Tonight is kind of experimental, I start my 1st night of raiding with a friend's guild. Doing 10-ulduar, we'll see how it goes.

25-Ulduar last night, 3 bosses down, new strategies formed, overall a nice night. I'm sick of all the cloth gear having hit rating. Only seen 1 piece so far without it.

Sunday wrapped up our 25-naxx last week. Full clear, yay =) I almost threw a bitch fit over a mage winning a healer staff. I'm sorry but Spire of Sunset is a healer staff. And if she hadn't of rolled for it, I would have won, I was pissed. Yes, I let the game get to me in that moment, I'm still ticked about it.

Back to last night, ended up in 25-VoA after Ulduar. Awesome t8 pants drop, I lost to another priest, not cool. Got my Furious Gladiator's Mooncloth hands tho. kinda made up for the loss on pants... So far the only shit I've won in 3 weeks of raiding 6 nights a week, is the key to 25-EoE, and those gloves. I'd love a change in luck.

So it's been a bit since i updated, anyhow, lets see. Cleared 25-naxx as usual on Sunday. Druid is at lvl 66 now, and I love tanking! Gotta test out my tree healing skills though. I've decided to take a break from raiding with my guild this week, I will instead be raiding with a friend's guild for a shot at 10-Ulduar. I'm fairly confident it will go well considering they are some of the most competent players I've come across.

In sad news, one of my good friends quit playing due to marital issues. I see a lot of crap out of a spcific person in regards to this. Usualy I would stay out of this, however I feel like sharing my opinion today. So, if you're the guy who's trying to break up a marriage, and you probably think you're in love with this married woman, think about this carefully. You're bashing her husband now for being pissed at you for trying to steal his wife, but if this was completely reversed, and the husband was being tempted from a woman in game, and the wife decided that something had to give, you would have cheered her on.

Meh, anyway, I will miss this woman dearly and hopefully someday she'll grace us with her presence once more.

I've been given a new nickname by a member of the guild I'm in. This name is reflected in the link for this new blog thing here, Mamma Ji.

It's funny that other things from the game have spilled over to RL as well. HFG (Hya's Fail Groups) and HFR (Hya's Fail Raids) are names given to pugs I always get conned into doing that fail, epicly.

Now we have HFBF's, or Hya's Fail Boy Friends. Apparantly I have horrid taste in men, of course I've always avoided gamers, maybe I should change that...

ANYWAY

Game related stuff, so I was on Elitist Jerks today doin some research, this right here is an AMAZING place to go for info on classes, specs, you name it, if it's wow related you'll probably find it there. Anyhow, I've come to the conclusion that aside from getting new gear, I'm stuck where I am, and that's ok.

And I think that's it for now, my arena score needs to get bigger, I'm gonna work on that...
